Identity Explained
For me my photographs are showing identity because i tried to show who the person was physically, by just showing their facial features and structures. In the picture of my dad you get to see the close up serious face of a man who has just worked a hard day and has that unshaved face. With the picture of my brother you only get to see half of his face. Showing just his facial features again. I also have a few multiple exposures, two of me and one of jenna. The photo with Jenna is combined with a photo of piano keys to show that she likes and plays music, the the two of me have no specific meaning behind them other than I liked how they looked combined. The last set of pictures i printed were the ones of Chris making a serious face (candid) and another of him making somewhat of a weird silly face. Both showing the sides of him. Altogether this project made me think about how to capture how to show the identity of someone and making it more than just a portrait of them. :)

Mexico Mission Trip
On Saturday April 9th, Grace Chapel's High School Mexico Mission Trip team had their first team meeting, along with their group and individual pictures.
Mexico Mission Trip
Chris G, Grace Chapel's High School youth pastor, led the team meeting about how to work together as a team during the trip and how to not put each other down. This is his first time leading a group down to Mexico.

Raelene G. plays a big part in the mission trip because she is organizing all of the events and transportation the kids and staff will be doing. They have already booked their trip and are going June 24th to July 2nd of this year.

Emma C, 11th grader from Sherwood High school is going to Mexico for her third time with the High School Ministry. She has been involved with VBS, performing skits, and building homes for the people living there every time she has gone.

While getting ready for more group pictures, the boys, being boys, goof off while Raelene tries to keep everyone in order.

The group going to Mexico are all going for their first time except three of the staff and one of the teens. They will be going to Papalote, Mexico.

During the mission trip the team will help serve food to the people who are less fortunate, mixing cement, and building homes, or a small church.
